In-Class Digication ePortfolio Workshop Request

Instructors can request an In-Class New Digication ePortfolio workshop for their class from the Center for Excellence in Learning & Teaching (CELT) during their class time that will be scheduled between Monday,  February 25, 2019 to Friday, April 26, 2019. (NO EXCEPTIONS, SO PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY!)

The last day to request an In-Class Digication ePortfolio workshop is Friday, February 22, 2019.

If you do not want to take time from your class to have an In-Class ePortfolio workshop, you can advise your students to attend a Public Digication ePortfolio Workshop(s) that will be offered after through out the Spring 2019 semester. Please advise your students to register here:

There are 2 options to choose from, they are:

Digication ePortfolio Overview (Presentation) In your Assigned Classroom  15-20 minutes
Digication ePortfolio Nuts & Bolts (Hands On Workshop) Computer Classroom 45-60 minutes


Digication ePortfolio Overview (Presentation) - An ePortfolio Student Technologist will visit your assigned classroom and students will learn what an ePortfolio is and will be provided with the website URL to create one on their own. The workshop instructor will make the distinction between a resumé and an ePortfolio. Students will learn the personal and professional benefits of using an ePortfolio as both a reflective tool and a marketing tool to obtain a job or internship position. The workshop instructor will address specific ePortfolio requirements relating to the course for which the workshop is being given.

Digication ePortfolio Nuts & Bolts (Hands On Workshop) - An ePortfolio Student Technologist will introduce Digication’s ePortfolio system to the class and guide students through creating an ePortfolio.  Students will learn about the features in which includes:

  • A Flexible Layout
  • Enhanced Text Editing, Auto-Save & One-Click Publishing
  • Uploading Files (Large Files & Mobile Uploads)
  • A Simplified Infrastructure Design and Organization 
  • Permission(s) Settings

In addtion, students will learn basic editing and content building which will be practiced through creating a Welcome section, an About Me section, and an additional section relating to the course content.
