The Basics of HTML

Hyper Text Markup Language or HTML, is a markup language that is used to construct and develop web pages that can be displayed in a web browser. A markup language is a set of markup tags that describe document content. In this case, HTML tags help organize and create effective HTML documents or web pages. This workshop is designed to introduce students to the basics of HTML to design simple websites.
