Adobe Illustrator is a vector-based drawing program used for typesetting and logo design.

Workshop Level: Beginner

Audience: Students and Teaching Assistants

At The End Of This Workshop You Will Be Able To:

Understand the differences between Photoshop and Illustrator

Use the tools in Illustrator, and how to navigate a document & the user interface

Create a document demonstrating the shape tools (pen, polygon, line, and others) & coloring

Includes differences between CMYK & RGB

Type in Illustrator (and learn when you should use Word/InDesign)

Use Artboards

Use the built-in Image tracing feature

Use Gradients & Gradient Meshes
