Photoshop is a renowned software made famous by its powerful painting and selection tools,color adjustment controls, multiple layer and channel capabilities, and special effect filters. With Photoshop, people can edit their photos as well as create banners, handouts and more. This workshop will teach students how to create, edit and enhance photos, as well as basics such as creating layers and selecting tools.

Workshop Level: Beginner

Audience: Students and Teaching Assistants

At The End Of This Workshop You Will Be Able To:

Use basic tools in Photoshop, such as Selection and Text tools, to edit photos and images

Learn and utilize useful techniques to compose original image arrangements

Overlay and select/crop various images using Layers to create backgrounds and other effects

Basic enhancements tools to improve the quality of images

Useful tips and shortcuts for tool and layer application
