VMware

VMware is a virtualization and cloud computing software provider. Under certain circumstances, faculty and students may obtain this software free of charge under the VMware Academic Program. Staff using VMware products to support the infrastructure of the University must purchase licenses.

VMWare Academic License Program

Academic Software Licensing provides software licenses for teaching, research, and gaining hands-on experience with VMware products. It cannot be used for campus infrastructure, non-academic purposes or any for-profit activity.

Faculty and Students

The VMware Academic Software Licensing Program supports virtualization applications in teaching and research.
