Regarding Faculty and Staff Machines

Client Support is restricted from working on faculty/staff machines not owned by Stony Brook University. Client Support will provide support for the business and work efforts of University employees. However, any support in this regard will be limited to telephone or remote connection support for only University-supplied software and services connected with the employee's job responsibilities such as:

  • Work-at-home VPN issues dealing with connection to the University

  • Symantec AntiVirus installation issues

  • Work-at-home Microsoft Office installation issues

  • MySBfiles connection issues

  • SOLAR System login and SOLAR ID and password issues

  • Blackboard login and NetID and NetID password issues
