There are printed instructions and/or Student Consultants in each SINC Site to help you with your printing needs. You will need to have:

  • Your Stony Brook University ID card.

Printing from a workstation in a SINC Site (Computer Lab)

  1. Within every SINC Site, each individual computer will now have the ability to print to a print queue.
  2. After you press the print button, you will need to visit a Pharos Release Station to release (send) your print job(s) to the printer.
  3. After the job has printed, it will count towards your quota.

NOTE: Jobs sent to the print queue, but not printed, will be deleted after 2 hours.

IMPORTANT:

  • Prepare ahead of time and send your print jobs to Print from Anywhere to retrieve printouts from ANY of our SINC site before heading to class!
  • If you do not use Print from Anywhere, the Main Library SINC Site rm 1460 and the Engineering SINC Site rm 106 have additional stations just for printing so people can walk-in just to print. Revisions must be done at a vacant computer in the lab and not these printing computers.
