  1. Stony Brook University allows event managers discretion with refund policies for their events to suit various business and regulatory needs. All refund policies will be made visible on the event's registration page. 

  2. In the absence of an event-specific refund policy, Stony Brook University and the Faculty Student Association may allow for refunds to be processed prior to the rendering of service/date of event.

  3. Refunds must be requested via email to the individual or department responsible for the event and include your unique registration number or other payment identifier (Note: DO NOT PROVIDE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER WHEN REQUESTING A REFUND).

  4. Approved refunds are processed within 10-14 days.
