Users can log in to campus applications such as Google Apps for Education and WolfMart without having to sign on multiple times or remember many passwords.   10. Google Apps for Education is the primary email system for everyone at Stony Brook University except Hospital employees and members of the School of Medicine and School of Dental Medicine. Stony Brook's Google Apps suite of products includes Mail, Calendar, Drive, Contacts, Sites, Groups, Hangouts and a host of other applications to enhance communication and real-time collaboration across campus.

Most of the residential channels are programmed by other departments, but run through the Educational Technologies system. Educational Technologies is not responsible for other programming (purchasing entertainment or news channels) or transmission (reception problems). Students experiencing problems with reception or concerns about non-locally originated programming should contact their RHD.
